Swing Bed Program
For those patients who have recovered from an acute care hospital stay, but need additional recovery time before going home, this program, called "Swing Bed" allows patients to stay in the hospital and receive physical and/or occupational therapy services as they gain strength and stamina following a debilitating illness or injury. The "Swing Bed" program allows many area residents to recover much closer to home, where it is easier for family members and friends to visit. Our rehabilitation specialists work closely with our patients as they re-learn or re-train their body to do simple every day tasks.
